The Industry Training Authority has hired five more apprenticeship advisors to act as on-the-ground resources for apprentices and employer sponsors and one of them is based in Prince George.

Donna Anderson is a certified career development practitioner, an experienced case manager and job coach, the ITA said Friday.

Previously, she has worked with the Aboriginal Community Career Employment Services Agency, Mtis Nation BC, and at the Aboriginal Employment Centre at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

The hirings bring to 15 the number of advisors the ITA has across the province. The newcomers have already started work, the ITA said.
