Gun shot wound sends attempted murder victim to PG hospital

Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a shooting in a motel room located in the 1500 block of Victoria Street Sunday at about 3 a.m. Officers found a 24-year-old man suffering from an apparent gun shot wound.

Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a shooting in a motel room located in the 1500 block of Victoria Street Sunday at about 3 a.m.

Officers found a 24-year-old man suffering from an apparent gun shot wound.

Two male suspects fled the area after the shooting.

Attempts to track the suspects with a police service dog were unsuccessful.

The victim was taken to the University Hospital of Northern BC and is expected to survive.

RCMP believe this is a targeted act.
