Provincial Crown counsel has stayed charges against two Fort St. John men in relation to the seizure of guns and drugs from a Prince George motel room earlier this year. Trevor Christopher Ernest Loe, 19, and Dominik Teale, 29, were arrested on

Jan. 22 after RCMP, acting on a tip, showed up at the motel, located on Highway 16 West.

Mounties found three handguns - reported stolen from Abbotsford in October 2014 - a significant amount of crack cocaine and ecstasy pills, and a large sum of money, police said at the time of the arrests.

A search of a car associated to the two uncovered property believed to have been stolen in Fort St. John, police also said at the time. Loe and Teale each faced six firearms charges and one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

No reason for the decision was provided Tuesday during a brief hearing in Prince George.
