The Fort St. James National Historic Site will celebrate "Easter in July" this Sunday.
The day begins with a pancake and sausage breakfast, free with admission, from 10 a.m. to noon. Easter bonnet making also starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m.
An egg hunt among the site's historical buildings begins at 11 a.m., while old-fashioned games go from noon to 12:45 p.m.
A chicken race is set for 2 p.m. and an air rifle shoot goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will also be a petting zoo where the kids can meet the new bunnies and chicks and local vendors and community groups will be onsite.
