Three people are facing charges after police seized 22 ounces of illicit drugs with a street value of $50,000 from a Nechako Drive home last week, Prince George RCMP said.
Cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin, were found in the home, as was $17,000 cash and an assortment of drug trafficking paraphernalia, RCMP said Monday.
It began Friday when Prince George RCMP's street crew unit investigating a report of a pickup stolen from a rural property east of the city.
Three men were subsequently arrested at a Fifth Avenue gas station and evidence found during the apprehension led RCMP to the home where a woman was arrested without incident.
A search warrant was then executed and the drugs were uncovered, as was a dirt bike reported stolen in March.
Police said James Henry MacKean, 37, Kurt Werner Steinhauser, 33, and Rhianna Marilyn Skorepa, 25, have been charged with a number of drug and stolen property related offences. Steinhauser was scheduled to make a first appearance in court on Monday while MacKean and Skorepa released on recognizances and are to appear in court later this month.
The investigation into the third man is continuing.
