A Williams Lake man faces more than 20 drugs and firearms related charges from an RCMP investigation.

Davey Ronald Auger, 21, has been charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking after RCMP seized heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine; cannabis and fentanyl from a Williams Lake home on May 28.

RCMP also seized a rifle, shotgun, a restricted handgun and a crossbow and Auger faces 17 firearms and weapons related charges as a result.

Auger is known to the police and the courts.

He also faces 16 drugs and firearms charges from an alleged October 2016 incident. That matter is set for a preliminary inquiry on June 30.

In February, three drugs and weapons charges against him were stayed.

Auger was to appear in Williams Lake provincial court on Wednesday afternoon for a bail hearing.
