A Prince George drug enforcer will serve up to nearly eight years in jail for his role in kidnapping, confining and torturing a man who owed money to a local cocaine dealer and then putting him through another round of abuse for his "own pleasure and gratification."

Steve Marozoff was issued a 12-year-term by Madame Justice J. Bruce in B.C. Supreme Court on Thursday but he gets credit for four years and one month time served reducing the length to no more than seven years 11 months.
