The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions and UNBC are hosting a workshop tomorrow night on advancing efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

It will be held at the Prince George Public Library's Bob Harkins branch, downtown, in the Keith Gordon Room, 5:30 p.m. start.

Trevor Murdock from the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium will share thoughts on how to use climate science to support local climate action initiatives.

Ewa Jackson from ICLEI Canada will discuss strategies for adaptation planning, sharing experiences and lessons learned in other Canadian communities.

"Drawing on community experience and expertise, the interactive exercise will identify what unique factors in Prince George put the community at risk from climate impacts," organizers said in a press release.
