Central Mountain Air is doubling the capacity on its route between Kelowna, Prince George and Terrace, effective Tuesday.

That's when the route will be serviced by a 37-seat Dash 8, in place of a 19-seat Beech 1900D, the company said this week..

"We're excited to increase travel opportunities for both business and leisure travelers throughout the B.C. Interior," CMA president Douglas McCrea said in a press release. "This change enhances our already comprehensive flight network across British Columbia and Alberta."

With the switch, CMA's partner company, Hawkair, will operate the flights, which are offered every day except Saturday. The flights can still be booked through CMA.
