It's the wrong place for the bus maintenance facility, readers said in answer to The Citizen's latest poll question "are you happy city council is considering dropping its plan to build a transit bus maintenance facility at the corner of 18th Avenue and Foothills Boulevard?"

"Yes, that's the wrong place for that facility" got 257 votes to take 41 per cent while "yes, the mayor and council were right to listen to the people" got 233 votes for 37 per cent of the vote.

Trailing significantly were "no, mayor and council caved in to a handful of people complaining" with 96 votes and 15 per cent of the vote while "no, that's the right place for that needed facility" took 42 votes and seven per cent of the vote.

The total number of votes was 628. Remember, this is not a scientific poll.

Next question is "what should Christy Clark and the B.C. Liberals do next?"
