Shirley Gratton puts together Bea's Tree Thursday at the Festival of Trees. Bea Dezell bought the tree in the early 50's from Perry's Pharmacy. She used the tree to help celebrate Christmas with her Brownie Pack for close to 15 years. The tree was then used by the Weavers' Guild, then sold in a garage sale to Shirley Gratton. Then it was almost sold again in a garage sale but saved to be used as an auction item in the festival. Bea's Tree started at The Festival of Trees in 2004. Bea passed away last March at the age of 105.
