Students interested in continuing their education after high school, and their parents, will have a chance to gauge what's on offer at 13 B.C. colleges and universities on Wednesday night.

The information event will be held in the Bentley Centre at the University of Northern British Columbia, 7 p.m. start.

Representatives from the Canadian Forces Royal Military College, Camosun College, Corpus Christi College, College of New Caledonia, Northern Lights College; Nicola Valley Institute of Technology, Okanagan College, Simon Fraser University, Thompson Rivers University, Trinity Western University, University of British Columbia, University of Northern British Columbia and University of Victoria will be on hand.

"While post-secondary reps have visited high schools in Prince George and around the province for many years, the school-hour schedule has traditionally made it difficult for parents to participate in the conversation," the event organizers said in a press release.
