A drug-filled night with Cody Alan Legebokoff was described to the jury Wednesday as the trial for the man accused of murdering three women and a teenage girl continued at the Prince George courthouse.

Rylan Stanyer and Matt Mathews both testified they traveled from Burns Lake to attend a party in Prince George where they met up with Legebokoff, who Stanyer knew from playing hockey against him but had not seen in three years.

They soon found themselves outside the home snorting lines of cocaine at Legebokoff's truck and, after twice purchasing powder cocaine, they bought some crack cocaine and moved on to Legebokoff's apartment.

It was about 2 or 3 a.m. when they smoked the crack after which they sat around and talked and played video games, court heard.

At about the time the sun came up, Legebokoff left the apartment.

"He said he was going to get a piece of tail from an older lady," Stanyer said.

Neither saw Legebokoff return to the apartment by the time they left in the early afternoon, driving back to Burns Lake although Mathews answered one text from Legebokoff asking where they were.

Neither Stanyer nor Mathews were clear on the exact date when the party occurred. Stanyer said sometime in August 2009 or 2010 and Mathews said September but could not give a year.

Crown prosecution is alleging the party occurred on Sept. 10, 2010 and are linking the event to the death of Cynthia Frances Maas, 35, whose decomposed body was found in L.C. Gunn Park on Oct. 9, 2010.
