One of anarchy's sons is muscling into Prince George.

Outlaw motorcycle gang member Tig Trager from the hit TV production Sons Of Anarchy, will be at the Pine Centre Mall on June 21 for a public appearance and autograph event.

In addition to his large role in the major F/X Network show, Kim Coates is also familiar to audiences for a long list of other notable film and television productions like Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, Silent Hill, Resident Evil: Afterlife, the hockey hit Goon and the upcoming film A Fighting Man with James Caan.

His first big international breaks came with the television show Miami Vice and the movie The Last Boy Scout. He has had recurring roles in CSI: Miami, Entourage, Prison Break and other TV projects, and has been in at least one movie per year almost without exception since the late 1980s.

Canadian audiences will even remember him from domestic television show Street Legal and the star of the indie music film Harmony Cats with Lisa Brokop, Jim Byrnes and Hoyt Axton. For although Coates has become a dependable and recognizable character actor in Hollywood, he is a Saskatoon boy who caught the acting bug in an elective drama course at the University of Saskatchewan.

Coates will be the main attraction at the first Northern FanCon, the city's first comic and cult-fiction expo. On June 21 he will be at the mall from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. Autographs will be paid for on a donation basis, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the local Special Olympics organization.

Coates' appearance and Northern FanCon is a co-production of the BC Northern Exhibition, Xcaliber Cycle, Pine Centre Mall and Citizen Special Events.
