Two Rivers Gallery opened a new exhibition this week - A Lexicon of the North - in the Rustad Galleria. Motivated by the question "what does it mean to you to live in the North?" a set of teenagers was given a disposable camera each and dispatched across the city for a month.

"Considering the world of technology that teens and young adults live in at this time in our lives, these young artists brought back interesting, well composed and thought provoking images that speak to life in northern British Columbia," said 2RG official Maeve Hanna.

Artists include Morgan Clark, Emily Holmes, Wayne Rawlings, Latisha Rawlings, Caleb van Unen, Maggie Maloney, Sarah Frigon and Catia Webb. Come see the show anytime the 2RG is open.

It is woven into a dance tale "of folklore and fantasy with mystery, love, loss, and certainly dance."

The show happens Saturday at Vanier Hall at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are available ($30 regular, $20 students / seniors) at Studio 2880.
