Comedian Ron Vaudry is in Prince George for a two-night stand starting tonight.
One of Canada's most recognizable standup comics, Vaudry rose to international prominence for appearances on the Arsenio Hall Show, the film The Funny Farm with cast members like Howie Mandel and Derek McGrath, on CBC Radio programs like Madly Off In All Directions and Definitely Not The Opera, and he carved a deep reputation for himself on the global comedy live circuit.
"A favourite at both the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival in Montreal and The Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland, Ron has parlayed his standup success into headlining appearances at major comedy clubs on several continents. He is also a favourite at campuses across North America and the world," said show organizers for his Prince George appearance. "Cynical, angry and always controversial, Ron is truly a talent to be savoured."
Vaudry is on stage tonight and Friday at Nancy O's at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 each, available in advance at Nancy O's or at the door while supplies last.
