Matthew Good will not join Our Lady Peace and Ellevator when they take the stage at CN Centre on Thursday night.

Good collapsed on stage at Edmonton's Jubilee Auditorium on Tuesday and was taken to the hospital, where he is continuing to recover from pneumonia. The Prince George concert was originally supposed to take place on Wednesday, but was postponed to Thursday in hopes Good would be able to perform.

A statement released by CN Centre general manager Glen Mikkelsen, said the concert will continue on Thursday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7:30 p.m.

"Matthew Good's management team advises he is very disappointed he will not be able to rejoin the tour in

Prince George, but he remains hopeful he can do so in Kelowna, on Friday, March 30th, and Abbotsford on

March 31st.," the statement said. "Matthew Good also thanks the great health care professionals at Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton, for the exceptional care he has received."

In a video from the Tuesday concert posted on social media, Our Lady Peace singer Raine Maida told the crowd that Good "wanted to do the show and he tried to do it and you saw what happened."

The crowd then burst into applause when Maida urged them to give Good a "big hand for even getting up there."

"I spent time with Matt last night in the hospital. He made it clear he wanted the tour to go on, and he will make it back out playing as soon as the doctors clear him," Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida said in a press release. "Prince George is out for Matt, but we will do our very best to honour his wishes and rock the CN Centre! We all hope to see you there!"

Patrons wanting a refund for Thursday's show can contact TicketsNorth by calling 1-888-293-6613, in person at CN Centre or going online to www.ticketsnorth.ca. Requests for refunds must be made prior to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets for the show are still remaining, for those wanting them.

Good and his band are on a cross-Canada tour with Our Lady Peace that began March 1 in St. John's, N.L.
