posturing or not after driving my truck for years for work and having a 120 liter tank it never ran past 95 dollars to run until last year. and since then i have purchased a cheaper car that can't carry my tools but it only takes 60 liters from empty to fill(approx) but when it is encroaching 100 dollars to fill this vehicle when only a year and half ago it cost my brother only 50 to fill it, things are getting rediculous, another record quarter for gas corporations and they want higher prices and the government want more taxes, not realizing that everything goes up due to this and not realizing that the small tax break or tax cheque will cover the sting of this for only 6 months if we are lucky. - pgboy

As much as I agree with Mr. Skakun's letter, the sad truth is that the Provincial Gov't simply doesn't care how this tax affects anybody north of the Fraser Valley. As far as they are concerned we are nothing but a bunch of whiners and should just take it and like it. - Pylot Project
