The issues I have with this study stem from the test cities being located in Sacramento, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Spokane and Atlanta - I think Ottawa as well. Are any of these cities located in geographical "bowls?" Do any of these cities experience the winter conditions we experience in Prince George? Are the vehicles tested indicative of type of vehicles normally driven in our northern environment? I for one would like to see research relevant to the community I live in before I blindly make up my mind regarding the pros and cons of idling my car. - ursus_arctos

Well, I guess that anti idling ambassador is out of a job. Great! Now the city can put that money to some good use and not some "make work" project that's utterly useless. Or keep the ambassador and he/she can clean up the garbage at the roadsides and on the boulevards. - Buddy
