I worked in downtown toronto years ago, and they would not sell mouthwash to the homeless. It's not right or fair, but buisiness owners were desperate to rid themselves of being known as " the place where all the drunks hang out". Neither of these criteria fit this event. For all intents and purposes, the man had the money and brought the merchandise to the counter in a proper manner.
