<description>...to the organizers and the kids who participate. Science fairs have come a long way since I went to school and kids today are so LUCKY to have these events to take part in. The sciences are an extremely powerful tool--they can enrich society in more and more amazing ways or they can also be used in some pretty bad ways, too. These fairs teach kids how to use the sciences for the Good of society and to put these powerful tools in perspective. The best part is, kids have a blast doing it, so the lessons are better remembered. Great stuff!!!

I can't wait to see my grandkid taking part in a science fair. Flip a quarter to see who has more fun :)
