LEON DOSITHE HEBERT July 3, 1918 - May 15, 2008 Leon passed away peacefully in the Prince George Hospital on May 15. Leon was born in Elie, Manitoba and worked 44 years with CNR as Section Foreman in Various locations in the Prairies, retiring in 1981. Since moving to Prince George, he had been a Regular at the PG & District Senior Citizens Activity Center, where he was a force to be reckoned with - when it came to cribbage. He had a great sense of humour and he loved to tell stories. Leon was the oldest in a family of 14 and his surviving siblings are Olive, Louise, Cecile, Adele and Rose, all from Manitoba. Children include Cecile, Mary and Dale from Alberta, Allen, Clothilde and Roger from Manitoba, Andre from Prince George, and many grandchildren. At 89, Leon was predeceased by many. The family would like to thank Dr. Raymond for the years of friendship and service. Thanks also to the fine people working in the Family Medicine Unit "C" South at the PGRH. The family would like to recognize Leon's close friends, Dorothy Dixon and Bob Carrier. He spoke often of you both, in the highest possible regard. No services will be held by his request. The family encourages memorials/contributions in his memory to the PG & District Senior Citizens Activity Center.
