Looking back at the political life of Peter Lougheed

Former Alberta premier Peter Lougheed died of natural causes Thursday, aged 84. Regarded as the pioneer of Alberta's energy empire, Lougheed fought Ottawa over oil royalties to keep Alberta the master of its own resources.
