LOS ANGELES - Authorities in California have made an arrest in a probe of an illegal prescription-drug ring linked to late Toronto-born actor Corey Haim.

California attorney general's office confirms the arrest but says it cannot provide any other details. Last Friday, attorney general Edmund Brown announced the investigation into the ring after an unauthorized prescription was found under Haim's name.

The '80s teen icon died last Wednesday at age 38 after suffering flu-like symptoms. An autopsy found that he had an enlarged heart and water in his lungs.

A coroner is awaiting results of toxicology tests before determining a cause of death.

"The Lost Boys" star was laid to rest Tuesday in a funeral attended by his parents in Toronto.

Meanwhile, authorities in Los Angeles have released a heartbreaking 911 call made by Haim's mother.

Judy Haim is heard on the 911 tape saying, "Oh my God, I think my son is dead."

She spent 10 minutes on the phone with a fire department dispatcher as she tried to perform CPR on her son's lifeless body.
