BELLEVILLE, Ont. - The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is investigating allegations a Belleville bar served an 18-year-old man who was later charged with murdering two people in nearby Mountain View.

The legal drinking age in Ontario is 19.

Spokeswoman Lisa Murray says the commission has received information Dean Brown of Belleville was seen drinking at Matt and Joe's nightclub on Bell Blvd. last Thursday night.

That was just hours before Tracy Hannah, 46, and her daughter Whitney, 14, were shot to death at their home. Daughter Shannon Hannah, 18, was seriously wounded.

Brown is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

A publication ban was imposed when he appeared for a bail hearing today, and was remanded in custody to next Monday.
