Oak & Thistle presents The Heel of the Loaf at Ohh Chocolat Cafe, 565 George St., tonight at 7 p.m. The group is an instrumental jazz/world/folk trio including Jeremy Stewart, Raghu Lokanathan, and Peter Stevenson that has been playing together for years and are always happy to fill a room with lively tunes and spirited improvisations. Outdoor Adventure Show, presented by the Prince George Citizen, goes Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at CN Centre. The free show is a massive indoor/outdoor expo, featuring all the best in hunting, fishing, power sports, and outdoor recreation. There will be over 100 exhibitor in and on the exhibition grounds.

Crafters, Swap Your Stash Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Prince George Public Library. Bring fabric, yarn, beads, patterns, or what have you to the downtown branch and swap with other crafters. Also bring along your UFOs (unfinished objects) and work on them while you visit with like-minded people. Bring craft supplies, trade craft supplies, or take craft supplies and make a donation to the Prince George Public Library.
