My daughter, her friend and myself attended the Dwight Yoakam concert last night. When our tickets were scanned on the way in the lady said we needed to see the box office, she wasnt sure why.
We were told that we would have to be assigned different seats as our seats may be occupied by the people that bought floor tickets in case they get tired of standing. Oh my goodness we couldnt believe what we were hearing so we asked again, and was told the same thing. The ticket lady said I can trade them for floor tickets, I assured her we didnt want floor tickets that we bought our tickets well in advance in the section we picked as I have a medical neck issue and picked the seat that would cause me the least discomfort.
We asked what would happen if we kept our tickets. She said you might go there and someone could be sitting in them. We still couldnt believe what we were being told, so we got tickets in the next section which wasnt helpful for my neck in the least.
Why would this happen? Really there was lots of empty seats in the stands if the floor ticket holders got tired why couldnt they just pick a seat that was not occupied or previously selected by a repeat paying customer.
