Silver for Berra and Lakers

Prince George's RJay Berra now owns a silver medal from a U.S. national championship tournament.

Berra is a member of the Oswego State Lakers men's hockey team that finished second at the NCAA Division 3 nationals, which wrapped up Saturday in Lake Placid, N.Y. In the final game, Oswego State fell 5-3 to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

Oswego is located in upper New York State.

Berra was in his second season with the Lakers, who posted an overall record of 25-5. In winning their conference, they went 14-2.

Berra is a former member of the Prince George Spruce Kings and also played junior hockey with the Grande Prairie Storm.
