Sinclair Group president Greg Stewart, centre, acting mayor Cameron Stolz, right, and United Steelworkers Local 1-424 president and city councillor Frank Everitt, left, helped make the Lakeland Mills rebuild announcement Wednesday morning.

Sinclair Group Forest Products announced Wednesday it will rebuild its Lakeland Mills sawmill in Prince George.

The rejuvenated sawmill is expected to employ 100 employees in two shifts by summer 2014. The sawmill was destroyed in an April 23, 2012 blast, which killed two and injured many more.
