Teen's thoughtfulness appreciated

Last week on Victoria St. Tim Hortons, the place was busy. Many students from one of the local high schools were lined up deep. I happened to be in the back of this line.

Suddenly a young girl, I’m guessing 16 years of age, came to me and asked me what I took in my coffee. When I told her, she immediately returned to her place in line, only to bring me my large double double a few moments later.

I’d like to pass along to her parents my gratitude for raising such a wonderful, young woman. You have certainly done something right. In this day and age, we don’t see this kind of thoughtfulness very often.
