Mountain bike stolen from Pine Centre store

A high-end mountain bike has been stolen from a retailer at the Pine Centre Mall.

A green Jamis brand Dakar XCT 2 was taken from Sport Mart during an early-morning break-in Wednesday.

Prince George RCMP who were called to the scene found a broken window near the entrance to the business and while a search with the aid of a tracking dog turned failed to turn up anyone, police did get an image of a suspect from the store's surveillance video.

The suspect is described as a slim male who was wearing dark clothing and a white hood.

The stolen bike features full suspension, 27 speeds and hydraulic disc brakes.
