There were starts on six new single-family homes in Prince George and area last month, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation numbers released Friday.
The total is double the amount seen during the same month last year and raises the year-to-date total to 13, compared to just three by the same point in 2012.
There were no starts on units of multiple family units last month, compared to four for the same month last year. The year-to-date total on that front remained at seven.
