Library fundraiser violating freedoms

Freedom to read week is to allow people to read the books that have been banned or challenged over the years and to celebrate the fact that we can in fact read these materials. But Chief Librarian Allan Wilson will celebrate it by doing the exact opposite he will ban/censor/lock up certain books and hope the public pays to be allowed that right to read them.

I quote the story and his words "There is something here to offend everyone." It's true, his fundraiser offends me. So do all the companies in the city who hold these books hostage. I would sooner stop giving any money to the places that allow, or take part, in such a move as this.

He could fundraise in many other ways, do other things without acting in this way. I encourage the public to not free these books, for by banning them for this week if he gets the money, who knows what he will do next to fundraise burn the books perhaps? Remember this week is the freedom to read week, not the week to have our freedoms taken from us.
