Utility increase shocking

Shock, wonder, and disappointment are what I, along with other Prince George residents, must be feeling when we open our utility bills from the city. Such a sizable increase yet received no increases in services.

We still don't have a curbside recycling system because it would cost too much, but wait, we can afford to send our mayor and delegates to China. Compare our downtown to other similar cities in B.C. only to be disgusted, but let's vote to reinstall paid parking downtown. We can't approve relieving the city taxes for the Legion and offering them some financial safety, but for sure our council will approve zoning for another liquor establishment.

City council is to get the voice for the citizens of this city, but not my voice. Long story short, recall Green and recall this sorry excuse for a city council and do what's right for Prince George.
