Thanks you doctors, nurses

While visiting my son and his family in Vanderhoof this January, I suffered an unexpected stroke. The ambulance attendants and doctor in Vanderhoof were amazing and efficient in rushing me to the emergency at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia. While there I received incredible care from the doctors, specifically Dr. Lakhani, who ran tests, investigated my health issue and set me on a course for recovery.

Of special note, I would like to mention the internal medicine department and nurses in Pod C North who cared for me during my stay. The nurses and support folks were remarkable. In this day, it is certainly reassuring to know that our medical care is the best in the world and available when needed. You folks in Prince George have certainly proven that to my family.
