Cow moose shot out of season

Prince George Conservation Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the those responsible for the illegal out-of-season harvest of a pregnant cow moose near Nukko Lake.

Acting on a tip received Monday, conservation officers found the remains on the 600 Road, off the Teardrop (Mossvale) Road, north of Nukko Lake and determined the moose had been pregnant with twin calves at the time.

Tips can be called in to the Report All Poachers and Polluters (RAPP) line at 1-877-952-7277 or #7277 on cellphones. Calls can be made 24 hours a day and information can be made anonymously.
