Honouring our country

I believe the early settlers that came to this country loved and needed it. They used it in constructive ways and honored it.

They didn't have any government in most areas, only a few RCMP. They had to work and govern themselves. They used trees to make log homes with outhouses for their families and drinking wells, they cleared land with their own sweat, blood and tears so they could feed their families. They faced the problems they had and worked together to solve them because they had no government money or help. They had a vision of a great land filled with strong healthy thinking men and women able to work hard and never give up until they had schools, churches, roads, stores etc.

They got it. I thank them with all my heart.

The land was blessed by the hard work and persistence of the early settlers.

We forget the government doesn't make money, it takes money from hard working Canadians and uses it for for the good of all citizens of this country. The minute we forget and get lazy and sloppy our country will be destroyed. I thank this country for Medicare, hospitals, schools and old age pension, my welfare payment.
