One of Canada's best known modelling scouts is coming to Prince George for a one-day workshop.

Charles Stuart will be in Prince George on Saturday, partially in search of talent and partially to impart knowledge to aspiring models.

"I'm very excited to have a man like Charles come here to work with our people," said Jana Phillips, proprietor of Jana Phillips Agency located in Prince George. "The girls and boys will learn all about modeling and acting on an international level and what it takes to get there."

Stuart is the founder of the annual Faces West modelling event that is a highlight trip for rising models from all over the western provinces. Prince George up-and-coming models have attended this convention for many years.

Stuart also runs his own modelling company, Charles Stuart International. Among his many professional signings is supermodel Coco Rocha whom he discovered about 10 years ago.

Stuart will be the special guest at a workshop from noon until 3 p.m. at the Coast Inn of the North. Cost to attend is $80, with registration opening at 11 a.m.
