Fatal collision closed Highway 97

A fatal motor vehicle collision took place Sunday at about 10 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 97 and Buckhorn Road, just south of Prince George.

One person is confirmed dead, while others were taken to the University Hospital of Northern BC by the B.C. Ambulance Service.

The B.C. Coroners Service has been called in to investigate.
