RCMP on lookout for defective vehicles

The Prince George RCMP will conduct targeted traffic enforcement this week.

Members of the municipal traffic services section and the Ministry of Transportation's commercial vehicle safety and enforcement branch will be out looking for defective and modified vehicles.

Other offences, including driving while impaired, will not be ignored, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said Monday.

"The Prince George RCMP are urging the motoring public to ensure their vehicles meet safety standards and to be aware of increased police presence on our roads," Douglass said.
