Tour date set

With the grand opening just around the corner, the B.C. Cancer Agency Centre for the North will hold an open house on Monday.

Members of the public who want to check out the new building, including the radiation treatment areas, are invited to stop by between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 29. The facility is located at 1215 Lethbridge Street, close to the emergency room at UHNBC.

More information on the new centre, featuring a story on a guided tour of the building, is in the latest A Healthier You magazine which is included in copies of today's Citizen.

The B.C. Cancer Agency has yet to proclaim the official opening date of the facility, but an announcement is expected in the coming days.
