Movie Finding Dawn set for Hadih House

A youth-oriented violence-prevention program will be airing a movie related to the issue at Hadih House, 2015 Pine Street, this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Finding Dawn focusses on Dawn Crey, Ramona Wilson and Daleen Kay Bosse, three of the estimated 500 aboriginal women who have gone missing or been murdered in Canada over the past 30 years.

There will also be a discussion and youth are invited to do an art project afterwards.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The event is put on by Youth against Violence: Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls.
