Who really benefits from B.C. Jobs Plan?

It was illuminating last week when the news broke that upwards of 400 temporary foreign Chinese miners would be coming to B.C. to work in the new coal mine in northern B.C.

Bringing in foreign workers is one part of the B.C. Jobs plan that Pat Bell and Christy Clark have been fairly silent on. It is also interesting to note that while B.C. has less than 15 per cent of the Canadian population we have over 50 per cent of the foreign temporary workers in the country. The Premier should be more upfront when promoting the B.C. Jobs plan. When she speaks of more jobs for B.C. she does not necessarily mean more jobs for British Columbians.
