Lumber should stay

I would like to know why are politicians are going halfway around the world to ask people to use our wood to build in their cites when we can't use wood for our own buildings.

When the new Duchess Park was built the whole thing was built with steel studs, and now the new cop shop on Victoria that reminds me of when we built the Hilton on the hill(Jail). They are trying to make it look all natural and green with the big wood pillars out front, except when I looked inside the other day to see all the steel studs it make me wonder if these people that are making the decisions even have there eyes open, and the carbon footprint used to build the steel and then transport them all the way to B.C. should make them think also.
