Polars run past Kelly Road into football final

Both teams wanted a rematch.

They'll get it, and the winner will take home a championship.

After semifinal victories Thursday night at Masich Place Stadium, the PGSS Polars and Duchess Park Condors will clash in junior varsity football's P.G. Bowl next week. In Thursday's late game, the top-seeded Polars defeated the Kelly Road Roadrunners 34-0. Earlier, the second-ranked Condors downed the Nechako Valley Vikings 36-6.

The winner of the P.G. Bowl will be determined this coming Thursday. Kick-off will be at 6 p.m. back at Masich Place.

To date, the Polars and Condors have only played each other once. The game happened in the first week of the season and PGSS prevailed 28-20.
