Firefighters, paramedics and police treat a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Thursday. Police say the man is known to police and is not cooperating with the investigation into the attack.

A man shot in his driveway on Wednesday afternoon is known to police and is not co-operating with the investigation.

The 39-year-old Prince George resident is listed in critical condition after undergoing surgery at the University Hospital of Northern B.C., but is expected to survive. According to Prince George RCMP, both the victim and the property where he was found on Northwood Pulpmill Road were known to police. According to a news release, police are confident the attack was targeted. No suspect or suspects have been identified.

Despite the lack of help from the victim, the investigation into the shooting remains a top priority for the RCMP. Police used a tracker dog and Emergency Response Team members on Wednesday to conduct a ground search around the property, but no suspects were located.
