Bidini Band concert Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Dave Bidini, founder of The Rheostatics and popular musician, writer, journalist and filmmaker, will kick off the Y Champions Hockey Weekend with the Bidini Band's exclusive concert downtown at Shooters Pub, 681 Brunswick Street. POPS in the Park is presented by the Prince George Symphony Orchestra Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Fort George Park bandshell for some end-of-summer blockbuster of music. The free outdoor concert begins music director Kevin Zakresky's tenure with the symphony. Favourite Hollywood scores include Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and sing-alongs lie the Sound of Music.
