Vehicles recovered

A collection of recreational vehicles is back in proper hands after police investigated recent theft reports.

They were all found at the same location.

On Tuesday, police were informed that sometime overnight someone had stolen a jet-ski boat and a trailer from a lot on South Kelly Street.

Later on Tuesday, another report was called in that a resident in the 400 block of Gillett Street was missing a dune buggy, also pinched from the property sometime overnight.

"On [Wednesday morning], general duty officers located the stolen boat and trailer, as well as the dune buggy, hidden behind a residence on the 400 block of Irwin Street," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "The items were returned to their owners. All three locations are within a seven block radius of each other."

No arrests have been made, but clues were available to police and Mounties are hoping for public assistance to advance the case.
