Early bird draw on Tuesday

The next early bird draw for Prince George Hospice Society 2012 Dream Home Lottery is set for Tuesday.

Winning names will be drawn for a Honda ATV and trailer from Cycle North, a Blackberry Playbook tablet from Future Shop, and a Buhler Medeira fireplace from Northern Hardware and Furniture.

The draw will be held at the site of the grand prize, a 2,490-square-foot home at 7416 Creekside Way in the Creekside Properties at the end of Malaspina Avenue in the College Heights area. The home also comes with six appliances and a moving package.

All tickets purchased prior to Sunday, 6 p.m. will be eligible for the early bird prizes.

The cutoff date for the grand prize is Sun., Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.

They can be purchased at the dream home, ordered from the 24-7 toll-free hotline, 1.866.419.7604, and they're available at Canadian Tire, Superstore, Pine Centre Mall, Northern Hardware, and Hart Drugs Pharmacy.

Tickets are $100 each and of the 8,500 originally up for sale, 56 per cent have been sold.

Proceeds from the lottery support three out of the 10 beds at Rotary Hospice House.
