Too much booze

Upon returning from holidays, I noticed a sign for Shooters cold beer and wine store on Cowart Rd. There is a similar store by Superstore, Westwood pub and on top of the hill by Save On, also across from Walmart, don't forget College Heights Pub and Bon Voyage. The one by the bottle depot only stayed for a short time and why would the city allow this type of business next to Ice an cream stand that has been there for years?

I have lived in P.G. all my life and there used to be a bar on every street downtown for years and P.G. was well known as a drinking town.

Are these businesses really needed every few blocks apart?

Believe me when I tell you that people are still driving to these stores not walking, so why is there a need for more of them so close together. Plus there are no houses by this new business
